With our perfectly curated private candle making experiences you will take an enchanting and personalized journey into the world of candle crafting. Our Apothecary Shoppe is an elegantly decorated, Victorian-Era inspired space with soft background music, low atmospheric lighting creating a calming ambiance. 

We are experienced candle artisans, who are passionate about our craft, we will guide you through the art of candle making, explaining the importance of plant based waxes with cotton wicks, clean fragrances and amber jars (you can upgrade vessels for an additional fee). Guests are encouraged to get creative and experiment with blending various oils for your very own custom scent. As the candles set, guests can unwind in a comfortable setting as you drink (BYOB) and eat (yes you can bring small bites ONLY or have small appetizers delivered). We do supply glasses, plates and silverware, but no room for large dinners, buffets, etc.

You can email us for special add-ons such as a private yoga class (next door in our studio) while your candles cure.  Or maybe a tarot or oracle card reading, etc.  Or even an authentic British High Tea served by a real life Brit!  Please note you will get to name your candles and a beautiful custom label will be made and printed for you during the experience. Guests will leave with their handcrafted candles, a newfound appreciation for the art of candle making, and a sense of accomplishment.

The Scent Queens Private Experience Cancellation Policy:

Payment:

Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your private experience. This secures your date, time, and materials.

Cancellations & Refunds:

7+ Days Notice: Cancel at least 7 days prior to your scheduled experience for a full refund or reschedule credit.

3–6 Days Notice: Cancellations made 3–6 days prior are eligible for a 50% refund or 50% credit toward a future booking.

Less Than 72 Hours Notice / No-Shows: Cancellations within 72 hours of your experience or no-shows are non-refundable, as materials and staffing are already prepared exclusively for your group.

Reschedules:

You may reschedule your booking once at least 3 days in advance at no charge, pending availability.

Late Arrivals:

Arriving more than 15 minutes late results in us locking the doors and an automatic cancelation with no refund as it would otherwise greatly shorten your experience time to keep us on schedule for the candles to cure enough to take home. Also it's completely disrespectful of our time. Surely, you can understand that.
